Teddy bear restoration - Before & After pictures

This lovely Big American possibly Ideal teddy bear (1920's) arrived in poor condition. It was a little bit dirty so at first I cleaned him. I changed his felt pads to similar ones like the original and I stuffed his arms and legs with wood wool because they were very loose. I sewn his nose and mouth and I fixed his ears too. After this he got a lovely expression. :-)

About me:

I started restoring antique teddy bears 5 years ago. I am a collector and many times when I acquired a new teddy bear, they were dirty and poor condition so I tried to restore them. I started to learn how I could fix them little by little. I was so happy to see the result, since the change was significant, I wanted to "help" many more bears to give them "new life". :-)
